The Outer Worlds – How to Sleep
Table of Contents
Sleep can impact your game in The Outer Worlds depending on which difficulty you are playing on. Regardless, there may be times where you want to sleep in lower difficulties, but it’s mandatory in the Supernova mode. This guide will explain how to sleep in The Outer Worlds.
Sleep Deprivation
When you’re tired in the Supernova difficulty mode you must sleep every day to prevent exhaustion. Over time your exhaustion levels will increase in stages. At each stage you will lose temperament, intelligence, and strength and if you become fully sleep deprived you will die.
How to Sleep
You can sleep at any bed in the world, and this will relax your character and will also move the game forward in terms of time. However, in the aforementioned Supernova difficulty you can only sleep in your bed on your ship, the Unreliable.
To sleep or rest in a bed you simply walk up to it and you will see a button prompt that says sleep. Press that prompt and it will ask you how long you want to sleep. You can sleep between 6 – 12 hours. Time will pass instantly as the screen fades to black.
You can find your bed on the second floor of The Unreliable ship and sleep at any of the beds. However, there are many other places you may find places to rest. You’ll have to go to your bed on the Supernova difficulty.
