Microsoft has officially announced the next batch of free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be getting next month, which has a nice mixture of bigger and smaller releases. The lineup was announced by Major Nelson on his blog, revealing another two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games. First up we have the two Xbox One games, which are Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time and Project Cars.

Video games have the potential to teach, excite, and make you see things in a different light or from a different perspective.  It’s one of the greatest things about the medium, but not too many of them ever really boil down to anything but mindless fun.  Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a lot like modern games in some aspects, and in others, it’s something completely different and unique.  While it comes from one of the minds that brought us the Assassin’s Creed series, it is not that.

Update 1.22 has arrived for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. This update is currently rolling out across all platforms, so you should see it in your download queue soon. It’s only a small patch, so it shouldn’t take too long to download. Season 5 just began last week in Black Ops Cold War, so don’t expect much in the way of new content in this patch.

Roblox and Chipotle Mexican Grill have collaborated for some special in-game surprises this Halloween season. Roblox is a widely popular game and this new collaboration doesn’t come as any surprise. In recent months, Roblox has not shied away from collaborations and even held a Twenty One Pilots concert, allowing players to have a good time. For Halloween, the game has now joined hands with Chipotle. The restaurant has started a new virtual location within Roblox, giving players a free burrito as part of this collaboration.

Runes are a new type of upgrade in Doom Eternal, providing you with powerful passive abilities that can greatly enhance your abilities. There are nine total Runes in Doom Eternal, with a maximum of three equipable at once. Each of them serves a unique purpose, and they can drastically alter your playstyle. SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated features several moves for SpongeBob and friends, and the Cruise Bubble ability is one of the final moves that can be unlocked for SpongeBob. It’s a ranged ability that allows SpongeBob to activate buttons and defeat foes from afar. Launching a bubble rocket into the distance is understandably a very useful skill to have, but you unfortunately cannot get the move too early in the game.

Caps have been featured as the main currency for every Fallout game since the very beginning, but none have relied so heavily on this typically easy-to-ignore part of the game as compared to Fallout 76. Bethesda’s bold step into multiplayer territory uses Caps for far more than just grabbing the occasional spare weapon or piece of armor, instead acting as currency for tons of gameplay elements, including fast travel. So, you’ll want to get more Caps and use them more effectively.
